The default is that the search will be through all Products in the catalogue.
You can select to search only Colour Crafts, Fibre Crafts, Yarn Crafts or Book Shop, by using the drop-down list.
It will search for the supplied text in the Product Code, Product Description, Overview, and where relevant, the Author.
The + Symbol
To make sure that the search finds products that have all the words you enter, not just some of them, add the + symbol.
For example, to find pages that have references to both Batik and Wax, you could search
this way:
+batik +wax
Only products that contain both words would appear in your results.
The - Symbol
Sometimes, you want to find pages that have one
word on them but not another word. The - symbol lets you do this.
For example, imagine you want information about Batik but don't want to products relating to Wax. You could search this way:
+batik -wax
If you omit any of the signs, the + sign is assumed, so the first example could have been written as:
batik wax
Using Quotation Marks
This is where you can search to give you products where the terms appear in exactly the
order you specify. You do this by putting quotation marks around the phrase,
like this:
"batik wax granules"
Now, only products that have all the words and in the exact order shown above will be listed.
AND and OR
The default is that the search is for all of the terms you enter, that is the first example could have been written as:
batik and wax
You can also extend the search by finding products with either term, as follows:
batik or wax
